 Stacking  only

If you are using your STAXX Stacker to create and remove stacks, here are the simple steps  to follow after the one-time set-up.

This first step depends on whether or not you have the Feeder Kit.

–  If you have the Feeder Kit, then you have the Multi-Funnel Base (MFB).

Place it above the solid board at the bottom of the Staxx Stacker and place  the white foam bars horizontally above the MFB.

–   If you don’t have the Feeder Kit, then you only have the solid board at the bottom of the Staxx

Stacker. Place the white foam bars above the solid board.

–   With the yellow strap unbuckled, place  the honeycomb of stacking columns into your STAXX Stacker.

–   Buckle the strap. Tighten it a bit if necessary for a snug fit.

–   Throw shuttles into the Staxx Stacker by hand, or use the Staxx scoop or something  similar to pour shuttles into the Staxx Stacker

  • Pour from at least 40cm (16 in.) above the Staxx Stacker.
  • Pour about 50% into the stacker and then shake until all those shuttles have stacked. Then add the rest of the shuttles and shake a few times again until those shuttles have also stacked. Experiment and find what works best for you.

–   Unbuckle the strap when you are ready to remove the stacks

–   Lift out the hex stacking columns

–   Tilt the Staxx box backwards onto the 2 supports

–   In the front of the Staxx box, lower the large bottom flap and then raise the smaller top flap. Magnets will hold the top flap open.

–   Enjoy the view of your stacks and start removing them as needed

–   When you are ready to stack again, lower the upper flap first and then raise the bottom flap. They will attach magnetically.

–   Place the stacking columns into the Staxx box

–   Buckle the strap and reload when ready, following the steps  above

The feeder conversion kit consists of:

–   The Staxx tripod with strap

–   The Multi-Funnel Base (MFB).

For the empty Staxx box,  before  adding  shuttles :

–    Unbuckle the wide yellow strap.

–    Remove the stacking columns, the 2 horizontal white foam pieces, and the solid board at bottom inside

–    Place the Multi-Funnel Base at the bottom and replace  the 2 horizontal white foam pieces

–    Do  not  use the solid board

–    Place the stacking columns into the Staxx box

–    Buckle the wide yellow strap

–    Load the shuttles in the usual way and shake

–    The tripod has an adjustable small  metal support.  Set the desired height of the tripod, position the metal support and tighten it in place.

Using the tube on the back of the Staxx box, slide the Staxx box onto the tripod, so it will rest on the support.

Attach the black  strap to a D ring on the Staxx box at the bottom in the front. Attach the other end of the black  strap to one leg of the tripod where there is another ring. This strap will guide the Staxx box to stay in a stable position on the tripod.

–   If the strap is angled to one side, rotate the metal support until the strap goes straight down to the ring on the tripod leg.

The corks will hang down through the Multi-Funnel Base,  ready for feeding to start. As necessary, toss or pour shuttles into the Staxx box for continuous feeding. From time to time, you may have to take the stacker oƯ of the tripod for a shake or to remove any shuttles that have gone in backwards.
